Responsibilities
- Perform daily general ledger reconciliations and journal entries.
- Process and verify accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, GAAP, and local regulations.
- Conduct variance analysis and assist in budget forecasting.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts to ensure accuracy.
- Collaborate with the day-shift team to ensure seamless workflow handoffs.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
- CPA or CMA certification is strongly preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in general ledger accounting or bookkeeping.
- Must be available to work the night shift (typically 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM).
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros).
- Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or SAP).
- Strong analytical skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
