Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for diverse client portfolios including accounts payable/receivable, payroll processing, and bank reconciliations
- Prepare monthly financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheets, Cash Flow) with detailed variance analysis
- Maintain accurate general ledgers and ensure compliance with GAAP and IRS regulations
- Oversee month-end and year-end closing procedures with meticulous attention to deadlines
- Implement and optimize accounting software systems (QuickBooks Online, Xero)
- Collaborate with tax professionals for quarterly/annual filings and documentation preparation
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to improve client profitability
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance (Bachelor's preferred) with 3+ years professional bookkeeping experience
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online/Xero and Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables)
- Certified Bookkeeper (CB) or QuickBooks ProAdvisor certification highly desirable
- Proven track record of managing multi-client portfolios with $500K+ revenue
- Exceptional analytical skills with 100% accuracy in financial reporting
- Strong communication abilities for client consultations and team collaboration
- Experience with sales tax filing and payroll processing (ADP/Intuit)
