Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the general ledger, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Reconcile bank accounts and perform variance analysis on budget versus actuals.
- Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff and assist with month-end close procedures.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and external audit requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- CPA certification or CPA candidacy is highly preferred.
- 3+ years of progressive experience in accounting or finance.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically advanced Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial regulatory standards.
