Responsibilities
- Execute daily accounting tasks including Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) reconciliation.
- Process payroll and vendor payments accurately within the established night shift window.
- Assist with the month-end and year-end close procedures to ensure timely financial reporting.
- Review and verify financial data for accuracy and compliance with GAAP and internal policies.
- Maintain digital and physical filing systems for all financial records and transactions.
- Generate financial reports and dashboards for the morning shift leadership review.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
- 2+ years of experience in general accounting, preferably in a corporate environment.
- Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or ERP systems) and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong analytical skills and a keen eye for detail to spot discrepancies.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively during night hours.
