We are seeking a detail-oriented Night Shift Accountant to join our dynamic finance team in Nashville, TN. As a Night Shift Accountant, you will play a key role in maintaining our financial health, working 3rd shift hours to support the continuous closing of books and processing of payroll. Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounts payable and accounts receivable processing and reconciliation.
- Perform nightly bank reconciliations and variance analysis.
- Assist with the month-end and year-end closing process, including journal entries.
- Process payroll runs and ensure accurate tax filings.
- Maintain and update financial records in QuickBooks and ERP systems.
- Generate and review financial reports for management review.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and company policies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
- 2+ years of experience in general ledger accounting or bookkeeping.
- Must be available and willing to work the Night Shift (10:00 PM - 6:00 AM).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and QuickBooks (or similar accounting software).
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
