Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate general ledgers, accounts payable/receivable, and bank reconciliations
- Process payroll, tax filings, and monthly financial statements using QuickBooks
- Analyze financial data to identify discrepancies and implement corrective actions
- Prepare month-end and year-end closing reports with detailed commentary
- Collaborate with senior accountants on audits and compliance documentation
- Optimize accounting workflows to enhance efficiency and accuracy
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance required; Bachelor's preferred
- 3+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience in a professional setting
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software
- Certified Bookkeeper (CB) or QuickBooks ProAdvisor designation a plus
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and numerical accuracy
- Ability to manage competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment
