Responsibilities
- Manage daily financial transactions, including accounts payable and accounts receivable processing.
- Perform night-time bank reconciliations and prepare accurate financial reports for leadership review.
- Process payroll and ensure strict compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and budgets.
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date, and organized digital and physical financial records.
- Reconcile credit card statements and promptly resolve any financial discrepancies.
- Collaborate with the day-shift team to ensure a seamless handover of financial data.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of progressive accounting experience (Night Shift experience preferred).
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) and advanced MS Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines during night shifts.
- Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and strong communication abilities.
