Responsibilities
- Perform daily financial journal entries and general ledger reconciliations.
- Assist in the month-end and year-end closing process with minimal supervision.
- Review and verify accounts payable and receivable transactions for accuracy.
- Prepare standard financial reports, including balance sheets and income statements.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records in compliance with GAAP.
- Assist with internal and external audit requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA/CMA preferred).
- 2+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a night shift environment.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) and MS Excel.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent analytical skills and a high level of attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines during night shifts.
