We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Night Shift Accountant to join our growing finance team in Memphis, TN. Responsibilities
- Manage and process daily accounts payable and receivable transactions with high accuracy.
- Perform daily bank reconciliations and ensure all discrepancies are resolved promptly.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements and general ledger maintenance.
- Reconcile credit card statements and vendor accounts to ensure data integrity.
- Support the month-end and year-end closing processes by preparing necessary schedules and reports.
- Monitor and maintain electronic and physical filing systems for financial documents.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience as an Accountant or in a similar financial role (night shift experience preferred).
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) and Microsoft Excel (advanced functions).
- Strong understanding of GAAP principles and financial regulations.
- Must be available to work the night shift (typically 5:00 PM - 2:00 AM or similar).
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
