As a Night Shift Accountant, you will play a critical role in maintaining the integrity of our financial data. Responsibilities
Manage and reconcile accounts payable and accounts receivable ledger entries with precision and timeliness.Prepare and post daily journal entries to ensure accurate financial records for the upcoming day.Conduct nightly bank reconciliations and investigate any variances immediately.Generate and review monthly financial statements, including balance sheets and profit & loss statements.Assist with the preparation of quarterly tax documentation and year-end close procedures.Perform internal audits of financial transactions to ensure compliance with company policies and GAAP standards.Maintain and update fixed asset registers and depreciation schedules.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.Minimum of 2 years of professional accounting experience, preferably in a corporate environment.Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) and MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros).Strong understanding of GAAP, general ledger accounting principles, and financial reporting.Demonstrated ability to work independently during the night shift with high accuracy and minimal supervision.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and verbal communication skills.Must be available to work 3rd shift (10:00 PM - 6:00 AM) on a consistent basis.
