Responsibilities
- Financial Processing: Execute daily journal entries, perform bank reconciliations, and maintain the general ledger with zero errors.
- Reporting: Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, trial balances, and variance reports to support executive decision-making.
- Month-End Close: Assist in the month-end and year-end closing procedures, ensuring all deadlines are met accurately.
- Expense Management: Review and verify invoices, expense reports, and credit memos for compliance and accuracy.
- System Optimization: Utilize accounting software (SAP/QuickBooks) to manage financial data and assist with system upgrades.
- Compliance: Ensure all financial activities adhere to internal controls, GAAP, and regulatory standards.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Experience: 2-5 years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate setting.
- Certification: CPA, CMA, or EA preferred; candidates currently pursuing certification are encouraged to apply.
- Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and experience with ERP systems such as SAP, NetSuite, or QuickBooks.
- Schedule Availability: Must be available and willing to work the night shift (8:00 PM – 5:00 AM).
- Soft Skills: Strong analytical skills, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
