Responsibilities
- Perform daily bank reconciliations and verify all financial entries for accuracy.
- Process and post accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements and balance sheets.
- Reconcile credit card statements and vendor invoices promptly.
- Support the month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Maintain accurate digital and physical filing systems.
- Respond to financial inquiries from internal departments during the shift.
Qualifications
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in general ledger accounting or a related role.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Must be willing to work rotating night shifts (e.g., 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM).
