Responsibilities
- Process and verify daily accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions with high accuracy.
- Perform bank reconciliations and general ledger entries for multiple clients.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial reports.
- Manage payroll processing functions for night shift staff.
- Review and code invoices for compliance with company policies and tax regulations.
- Assist in the preparation of quarterly sales and use tax filings.
- Maintain an organized filing system for both digital and physical documents.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
- 1-3 years of experience in general accounting, AP/AR, or bookkeeping.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero) and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and basic tax regulations.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently during night shifts (6:00 PM - 2:30 AM).
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
