Responsibilities
- Manage and reconcile daily bank statements, general ledger accounts, and credit card transactions.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports (P&L, Balance Sheets) ensuring compliance with GAAP standards.
- Process and audit payroll entries for accuracy, tax deductions, and compliance.
- Assist in the preparation of tax documents and internal audit schedules.
- Monitor accounts receivable and payable to ensure timely collections and vendor payments.
- Maintain and organize digital and physical financial archives and documentation.
- Collaborate with day-shift management to resolve complex financial discrepancies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or CMA certification is a plus).
- 2+ years of experience in general ledger accounting, bookkeeping, or auditing.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Strong understanding of financial reporting, tax regulations, and reconciliation processes.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote or quiet office setting.
- Must be available to work the night shift (5:00 PM - 2:00 AM) on a full-time basis.
