Responsibilities
- Reconciliation: Perform daily and monthly reconciliation of bank accounts, credit cards, and general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable and receivable, journal entries, and ledgers.
- Reporting: Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and variance analysis.
- Payroll Support: Process and verify payroll entries for night shift staff and ensure timely disbursement.
- Auditing: Conduct internal audits of financial transactions to ensure compliance with company policies and local regulations.
- Assistance: Support the senior accounting team with special projects and month-end close procedures.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
- Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping. Night shift experience is a plus.
- Skills: Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero) and advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP).
- Availability: Must be available to work rotating night shifts as required by business needs.
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional accuracy in data entry and financial analysis.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills for reporting findings.
