Responsibilities
- Process high-volume daily transactions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
- Perform daily bank and credit card reconciliations to ensure 100% accuracy.
- Post nightly batch reports and maintain accurate financial records.
- Assist with the preparation of monthly and quarterly financial statements.
- Review and verify invoices for accuracy, coding, and authorization.
- Respond to inquiries from internal departments regarding financial discrepancies.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and internal controls.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 2-3 years of progressive experience in accounting or bookkeeping.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, or Sage) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong working knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently during night shifts.
- Excellent analytical skills and a keen eye for detail.
