We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Night Shift Accountant to join our premier finance team in Nashville, TN. As a Night Shift Accountant, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring the integrity of our accounting operations. You will work independently during off-hours to complete critical tasks such as reconciliations, reporting, and data entry, allowing you to start your day with a clean slate.
Responsibilities
- Perform daily general ledger entries and perform month-end close procedures with high accuracy.
- Reconcile bank accounts, credit card statements, and general ledger accounts to ensure balances are correct.
- Process and verify accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements, budgets, and variance analysis reports.
- Support the external audit process by providing requested schedules and documentation.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and company financial policies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of accounting experience, preferably in a corporate environment.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (PivotTables, VLOOKUP) and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle).
- Must be available to work the night shift (e.g., 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM).
- Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
