Responsibilities
- Manage month-end closing processes and reconcile accounts during night shift hours
- Prepare financial statements, balance sheets, and income reports with precision
- Process payroll, accounts payable/receivable, and expense reimbursements
- Conduct internal audits and ensure compliance with GAAP and SOX regulations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve financial discrepancies
- Maintain accurate financial records using QuickBooks and SAP systems
- Analyze financial data to identify trends and recommend process improvements
- Support tax preparation and documentation requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred)
- 3+ years of professional accounting experience
- Proven night shift or graveyard shift work history
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, SOX compliance, and tax regulations
- Exceptional attention to detail and analytical problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision during night hours
