Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the general ledger and perform daily journal entries.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions with a high degree of accuracy.
- Reconcile bank statements, credit card statements, and general ledger accounts.
- Assist with month-end and year-end close procedures and financial reporting.
- Prepare and review financial statements, variance analysis, and operational reports.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, and generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
- Collaborate with the day-shift team to ensure seamless workflow and data transfer.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or CMA preferred).
- 2-5 years of progressive experience in general accounting or bookkeeping.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, or NetSuite).
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, vlookups, macros).
- Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently.
- Mandatory Requirement: Must be available to work a night shift schedule (e.g., 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM).
