Responsibilities
Your primary focus will be maintaining accurate financial data and supporting the accounting operations team. Key duties include:
- Performing daily bank reconciliations and general ledger account reconciliations.
- Processing accounts payable and receivable transactions with a focus on speed and accuracy.
- Assisting with the preparation of monthly financial statements and variance analysis.
- Maintaining and organizing digital and physical financial documentation and audit trails.
- Collaborating with the day-shift team to resolve discrepancies and ensure a seamless transition of duties.
Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you must possess a strong foundation in accounting principles and the ability to work autonomously during the night shift.
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in general accounting or bookkeeping.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and advanced Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to spot errors in data entry.
- Must be available to work the specified night shift schedule.
