Responsibilities
- Execute daily accounts payable and accounts receivable processing with zero errors.
- Perform nightly bank reconciliations and general ledger adjustments.
- Prepare and review monthly financial statements, ensuring full compliance with GAAP standards.
- Assist in the preparation of quarterly tax filings and annual external audits.
- Manage and maintain the integrity of the general ledger system.
- Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies and aged accounts receivable.
- Ensure all financial documentation is accurately filed and securely stored.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience (Night shift experience is a plus).
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage 50, or ERP systems).
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros).
- Strong analytical skills with an exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively during night shifts.
- Strong ethical standards and professional communication skills.
