Job Description

Responsibilities
- Manage Accounts Payable/Receivable: Process invoices, verify expenses, and ensure timely payment to vendors while managing incoming customer payments.
- Perform Month-End Close: Execute month-end and year-end closing procedures, including journal entries and accruals, to maintain accurate financial records.
- Bank Reconciliation: Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts to the general ledger on a daily and monthly basis.
- Financial Reporting: Assist in the preparation of financial statements, variance analysis, and management reports.
- Compliance & Auditing: Ensure all financial activities adhere to GAAP and internal control policies; support external and internal audits.
- General Ledger Maintenance: Review and correct errors in ledgers, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration required.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably within a night shift or 24/7 operations environment.
- Technical Proficiency: Advanced knowledge of accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, NetSuite) and Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Certification: CPA or CMA certification is highly preferred but not mandatory.
- Availability: Must be willing and able to work night shifts (e.g., 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM) consistently.
- Skills: Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
