Responsibilities
- Financial Reconciliation: Perform daily bank reconciliations, credit card reconciliations, and general ledger reconciliations with a high degree of accuracy.
- Accounts Payable & Receivable: Process and review invoices, manage payments, and ensure timely posting of transactions.
- Financial Reporting: Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and journal entries.
- Payroll Support: Review and verify payroll data to ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.
- Compliance & Auditing: Maintain accurate financial records and assist in internal or external audits.
- System Management: Monitor and maintain the integrity of financial data within the accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or ERP systems).
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; CPA certification is a plus.
- Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of accounting experience; prior experience in a night shift or high-volume processing environment is highly preferred.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and experience with accounting software (NetSuite, QuickBooks, or SAP).
- Availability: Must be willing and able to work night shifts (e.g., 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM or similar) on a rotating schedule.
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional ability to detect errors, inconsistencies, and discrepancies in financial data.
- Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills for documenting processes and reporting findings.
