Responsibilities
- Process and reconcile daily accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
- Perform nightly bank reconciliations and identify discrepancies.
- Prepare and post adjusting entries for the night shift close cycle.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly and quarterly financial reports.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, GAAP, and local regulations.
- Manage and organize digital and physical financial documentation.
- Communicate with internal teams regarding billing inquiries and payment statuses.
Qualifications
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum of 2 years of accounting experience, preferably in a high-volume environment.
- Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and general ledger functions.
- Ability to work independently and accurately during night shifts.
- High level of integrity and attention to detail.
