Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daily accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts to ensure accuracy.
- Prepare and post nightly journal entries and accruals.
- Assist with the month-end and year-end closing process.
- Generate financial reports and analysis for leadership review.
- Maintain and organize financial documentation and digital records.
Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of accounting experience (night shift experience a plus).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and accounting software (QuickBooks or NetSuite).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines without direct supervision.
- Must be available to work the night shift (e.g., 6:00 PM - 2:00 AM or similar).
Responsibilities
- Perform daily accounts payable processing and vendor reconciliation.
- Conduct nightly bank reconciliations and variance analysis.
- Prepare and enter adjusting journal entries for month-end close.
- Assist with the preparation of financial statements and internal audits.
- Manage and organize digital and physical financial records.
- Communicate with vendors and internal departments regarding billing inquiries.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (or equivalent work experience).
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or CPA candidate is a strong plus.
- Proficient in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or similar).
- Advanced Excel skills required.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Must be willing to commit to a consistent night shift schedule.
