We are looking for a meticulous professional to handle the financial backbone of our operations during the evening hours.
Responsibilities
- Process and reconcile Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) transactions daily.
- Perform bank and credit card reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial data.
- Assist with the month-end and year-end closing procedures.
- Review and verify invoices for accuracy, coding, and authorization.
- Prepare and distribute nightly financial reports and variance analysis.
- Maintain the general ledger and ensure compliance with GAAP standards.
- Support the finance team with data entry and ad-hoc reporting needs.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of general accounting experience.
- Must be available to work the night shift (typically 5:00 PM – 2:00 AM).
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero) and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and internal controls.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
