Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation of monthly financial reports and variance analysis for the weekend closure.
  • Maintain and update the fixed asset register, performing monthly depreciation calculations.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of accounting experience, preferably with a focus on month-end or week-end close cycles.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, Sage) and strong Microsoft Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
  • Strong understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
