Responsibilities
- Manage high-volume accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely and accurate payments.
- Perform daily bank reconciliations and credit card statement reconciliations.
- Prepare and review monthly financial reports, including profit and loss statements.
- Process payroll for night shift staff and contractors using our payroll software.
- Reconcile general ledger accounts and investigate any variances or discrepancies.
- Assist with quarterly and annual tax filings and audit preparations.
- Utilize QuickBooks and advanced Excel functions to maintain organized financial databases.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a night shift role.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero).
- Deep understanding of GAAP principles and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
- Must be available to work 9:00 PM to 6:00 AM (or similar night shift hours).
