Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring all transactions are recorded accurately and on time.
- Perform daily and monthly bank reconciliations to identify and resolve discrepancies promptly.
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, including balance sheets and profit & loss statements.
- Assist the finance team with year-end audits and tax preparation requirements.
- Maintain the general ledger and ensure strict compliance with GAAP and internal control policies.
- Process payroll adjustments and assist with payroll tax filings.
- Review and code invoices for accuracy and approve payments within set authorization limits.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required; CPA or CMA certification is a plus.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a high-volume environment.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Strong understanding of GAAP principles and financial reporting standards.
- Demonstrated ability to work accurately and efficiently during night shifts.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and error detection.
