Responsibilities
- Perform daily/monthly bank reconciliations and account reconciliations
- Process and record journal entries for overnight transactions
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures
- Prepare financial statements and management reports
- Monitor accounts payable/receivable activities during night shifts
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal controls
- Collaborate with day team to resolve discrepancies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
- 3+ years of professional accounting experience
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and QuickBooks
- Strong understanding of GAAP and accounting principles
- Proven ability to work independently during night shifts
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail with high accuracy standards
- CPA or CPA candidate preferred
