Responsibilities
- Perform month-end closing procedures and reconcile GL accounts
- Analyze financial statements and prepare variance reports
- Manage accounts payable/receivable cycles with night shift efficiency
- Ensure SOX compliance and internal control documentation
- Collaborate with tax department on quarterly filings
- Lead bank reconciliations and cash flow forecasting
- Maintain fixed asset registers and depreciation schedules
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 3+ years of night shift accounting experience
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and Excel with macros
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and Maryland tax regulations
- Exceptional attention to detail and deadline-driven mindset
- Ability to work independently during off-peak hours
- Proven problem-solving skills with financial discrepancies
