Responsibilities
- Perform end-of-day and end-of-week financial reconciliations and journal entries with zero tolerance for error.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions efficiently during overnight processing hours.
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial reports, including balance sheets and income statements, for executive review.
- Conduct internal audits and variance analysis to ensure strict compliance with GAAP standards.
- Maintain and update the general ledger system with high-velocity nightly transactions.
- Assist with year-end tax preparation, financial audits, and statutory reporting requirements.
- Collaborate with the day shift team to ensure seamless workflow transitions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA certification is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a night shift or high-volume environment.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and advanced MS Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Strong understanding of financial reporting, auditing principles, and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent attention to detail, analytical thinking, and the ability to work independently.
- Must be available to work the night shift schedule (e.g., 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM).
