Responsibilities
- Process accounts payable/receivable transactions with 99.9% accuracy
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts monthly
- Maintain and update general ledger entries using QuickBooks Online
- Assist in preparing financial statements and month-end close procedures
- Support payroll processing and tax documentation compliance
- Organize financial records and ensure audit-ready documentation
- Collaborate with senior accountants on special financial projects
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance (or equivalent experience)
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP/Pivot Tables)
- Strong understanding of GAAP principles and double-entry accounting
- Exceptional attention to detail and numerical accuracy
- Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Basic knowledge of payroll processing (ADP/QuickBooks Payroll preferred)
