Responsibilities
- Perform daily account reconciliations and variance analysis for multiple general ledger accounts.
- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions, ensuring accuracy and timely posting.
- Assist with the month-end and year-end close procedures, including journal entries and accruals.
- Generate and audit financial reports to support management decision-making.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card statements to the general ledger.
- Maintain and organize financial documentation and internal controls.
- Collaborate with the day-shift team to resolve complex accounting discrepancies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
- 1-3 years of accounting experience, preferably in a corporate environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP, or NetSuite).
- Strong understanding of GAAP and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
- Must be available to work the assigned night shift schedule consistently.
- High level of attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
