Responsibilities
- Manage and reconcile general ledger accounts with meticulous attention to detail
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements ensuring compliance with GAAP
- Coordinate with day-shift teams for seamless financial data handover
- Process payroll, accounts payable/receivable during overnight hours
- Conduct internal audits and financial controls verification
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures
- Generate ad-hoc financial reports for executive leadership
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
- 3+ years of public or corporate accounting experience
- CPA certification preferred (or actively pursuing)
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel
- Proven ability to work independently during night shifts
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Experience with multi-state tax compliance
- Excellent communication skills for cross-shift collaboration
