Responsibilities
- Perform daily bank reconciliations and account reconciliations during night shift hours
- Process and record journal entries for month-end and year-end closing procedures
- Assist with financial statement preparation and variance analysis
- Manage accounts payable/receivable cycles and resolve discrepancies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with GAAP
- Maintain accurate financial records in ERP systems (SAP/Oracle)
- Support internal audits and regulatory reporting requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
- 3+ years of professional accounting experience
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
- Strong attention to detail with analytical problem-solving skills
- Experience with night shift or alternative work schedules preferred
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation highly desirable
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Knowledge of Minnesota state tax regulations
