Responsibilities
- Perform month-end closing procedures including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statement preparation
- Process high-volume accounts payable/receivable transactions during overnight shifts
- Conduct bank reconciliations and variance analysis for 50+ corporate accounts
- Support audit preparation by maintaining organized financial documentation
- Implement internal controls to ensure compliance with SOX regulations
- Collaborate with global teams on multi-currency transaction processing
- Generate daily financial reports for executive review before market open
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 3+ years of hands-on accounting experience with night shift exposure
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and MS Excel (VBA skills a plus)
- Deep understanding of GAAP and IRS compliance requirements
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently during overnight hours (6 PM - 6 AM)
- Proven experience in high-volume transaction processing environments
