Responsibilities
- Execute daily reconciliation of accounts payable/receivable and general ledger entries
- Process and validate high-volume transactions during overnight hours
- Prepare and analyze financial statements for executive review
- Coordinate with international teams for multi-currency transaction processing
- Maintain strict compliance with GAAP and SEC regulations
- Lead month-end and year-end closing procedures
- Implement process improvements for night shift financial workflows
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)
- 3+ years of experience in public accounting or corporate finance
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and Excel
- Proven ability to work independently in overnight shifts
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Experience with multi-location financial consolidation
- Knowledge of Virginia tax regulations and compliance
- Professional certification (CPA, CMA) highly valued
