Responsibilities
- Execute daily bank reconciliations and account reconciliations for multi-entity portfolios
- Prepare and analyze month-end financial statements with variance commentary
- Process high-volume journal entries and maintain accurate general ledgers
- Assist with internal audits and SOX compliance documentation
- Collaborate with international teams during overnight financial cycles
- Manage accounts payable/receivable cycles for assigned business units
- Generate ad-hoc financial reports for executive decision-making
- Maintain strict confidentiality and data security protocols
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 3+ years of public or corporate accounting experience
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, or Oracle Financials
- Strong understanding of GAAP and SOX compliance requirements
- Exceptional attention to detail with error reconciliation skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Proven experience with month-end and year-end closing processes
- Strong Excel skills (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, macros)
