Responsibilities
- Perform daily reconciliations of bank accounts and general ledger entries
- Process and record month-end closing activities during night shift hours
- Prepare financial statements and variance analysis reports
- Assist with audit preparation and documentation requests
- Monitor accounts receivable/payable processes during overnight operations
- Implement and maintain internal controls for financial systems
- Collaborate with day-time team for seamless workflow handoffs
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- 3+ years of professional accounting experience
- Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP/Oracle) and MS Excel
- CPA or CPA preferred (or actively pursuing)
- Proven experience with month-end and year-end closing
- Strong understanding of GAAP and compliance standards
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently during night shift hours
