Responsibilities
- Perform daily accounting operations, including accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processing.
- Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts to ensure 100% accuracy.
- Assist in the month-end and year-end closing procedures and financial reporting.
- Prepare and review journal entries and financial statements for management review.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, and regulatory standards.
- Communicate effectively with the day-shift team regarding financial discrepancies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
- CPA certification is a strong plus.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of progressive accounting experience.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or SAP) and advanced Excel skills.
- Must be available to work the night shift (typically 6:00 PM – 2:00 AM).
- Strong attention to detail and excellent time management skills.
