Responsibilities
- Execute month-end closing procedures including journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis
- Prepare and analyze financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) for stakeholder review
- Manage accounts payable/receivable cycles and ensure timely processing
- Conduct internal audits and implement process improvements for operational efficiency
- Collaborate with tax department to ensure compliance with federal and state regulations
- Maintain accurate financial records in ERP systems (SAP/Oracle experience preferred)
- Support budgeting and forecasting initiatives through data analysis
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 3+ years of hands-on accounting experience with night shift or flexible scheduling
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables, Macros) and accounting software
- Strong understanding of GAAP, SOX compliance, and financial controls
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision during night hours
- Effective communication skills for cross-departmental collaboration
- Experience with multi-currency transactions and international accounting standards
