Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting processes including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and month-end close
- Prepare financial statements and compliance reports adhering to GAAP standards
- Conduct account reconciliations and variance analysis for 15+ client portfolios
- Implement process improvements using accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budget forecasting and financial planning
- Maintain internal controls and ensure audit readiness documentation
- Lead training sessions on accounting best practices for junior staff
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public or private sector
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel
- Strong knowledge of tax regulations and compliance requirements
- Proven ability to manage multiple deadlines and competing priorities
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail-oriented reporting
- Experience with financial audits and internal controls implementation
- California CPA license required
