Responsibilities
- Perform daily bank reconciliations and ensure the accuracy of general ledger accounts.
- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions with high precision and timeliness.
- Prepare and post nightly journal entries to maintain accurate financial records.
- Generate and review monthly financial reports, variance analysis, and trial balances.
- Maintain strict adherence to internal controls, compliance standards, and GAAP regulations.
- Assist with the month-end and year-end close processes.
- Respond to vendor and client inquiries regarding account status and discrepancies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum of 2 years of accounting experience, preferably in a high-volume or night shift environment.
- Must be available to work the night shift schedule (e.g., 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros) and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, Xero).
- Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
