As our Night Shift Bookkeeper, you will be the backbone of our accounting operations. You will handle a variety of financial tasks, ensuring that our daily, monthly, and annual financial cycles run smoothly while the rest of the world sleeps. Responsibilities
- General Ledger Management: Perform daily journal entries and maintain accurate general ledger accounts.
- Reconciliation: Reconcile bank statements, credit card accounts, and general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy.
- AP/AR Processing: Process accounts payable invoices and manage accounts receivable collections.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and post monthly financial statements, trial balances, and financial summaries.
- Payroll Support: Assist with processing payroll data and maintaining payroll records.
- Compliance: Ensure all financial records comply with federal, state, and local regulations.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of professional bookkeeping experience.
- Software Proficiency: Expert level proficiency in QuickBooks Online or QuickBooks Desktop. Experience with Xero or Sage is a plus.
- Education: Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration preferred; High school diploma required.
- Availability: Must be available to work the Night Shift (6:00 PM – 2:00 AM).
- Skills: Strong knowledge of GAAP principles and advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
