Responsibilities
- Execute daily financial reconciliations and general ledger entries during night shifts.
- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions with a high degree of accuracy.
- Generate and analyze monthly financial reports and variance analysis.
- Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual tax filings and audits.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal financial controls.
- Maintain and organize digital and physical financial documentation.
- Collaborate with day-shift management to resolve discrepancies and close books efficiently.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
- 3+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a corporate or public accounting setting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) and advanced MS Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines in a night shift environment.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Valid California driver’s license and access to reliable transportation.
