Our Milwaukee headquarters is seeking a meticulous Night Shift Accountant to manage end-of-day reconciliations, ensure regulatory compliance, and support month-end closing processes. Responsibilities
- Perform daily/month-end bank reconciliations and transaction verifications
- Process and analyze financial data using QuickBooks and SAP systems
- Prepare financial statements and regulatory compliance reports
- Assist with audits and internal control evaluations
- Manage accounts payable/receivable workflows
- Collaborate with cross-department teams on financial initiatives
- Maintain accurate financial documentation and filing systems
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (required)
- 3+ years of general ledger accounting experience
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks and Excel
- CPA or CMA certification preferred
- Proven experience with month-end closing processes
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently during overnight shifts
