Responsibilities
- Perform end-of-day reconciliations for bank accounts, credit cards, and general ledger entries
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements with variance reporting
- Manage accounts payable/receivable cycles during overnight operations
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures
- Utilize QuickBooks and advanced Excel for financial data analysis
- Ensure SOX compliance for all overnight financial processes
- Collaborate with international teams during time-sensitive reporting deadlines
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 3+ years of hands-on accounting experience
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks and Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables)
- Experience with month-end closing and reconciliation processes
- Strong attention to detail with ability to spot discrepancies in large datasets
- Comfortable working independently during overnight hours
- CPA or CPA candidate preferred
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP/Oracle) a plus
