Responsibilities
- Execute month-end closing procedures including reconciliations and journal entries
- Analyze financial data to ensure accuracy and compliance with GAAP
- Prepare and submit regulatory reports (1099s, sales tax, payroll filings)
- Support auditing processes by providing documentation and data analysis
- Manage accounts payable/receivable cycles with precision
- Collaborate with day-time teams to ensure seamless financial operations
- Implement process improvements for night shift accounting workflows
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
- 3+ years of professional accounting experience
- CPA or CPA candidate strongly preferred
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks and Excel (VBA knowledge a plus)
- Proven experience with night shift or flexible scheduling
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
