Responsibilities
- Manage month-end closing processes including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Process and reconcile accounts payable/receivable transactions during overnight hours
- Prepare and analyze financial statements for executive review
- Conduct internal audits and ensure compliance with GAAP and SEC regulations
- Collaborate with international teams to reconcile cross-border transactions
- Maintain accurate financial records using SAP and QuickBooks systems
- Support tax preparation and documentation for quarterly filings
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 3+ years of hands-on accounting experience in public or corporate setting
- Proven experience with month-end closing and reconciliation processes
- Advanced proficiency in SAP, QuickBooks, and MS Excel
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently during overnight shifts (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Excellent communication skills for cross-departmental collaboration
- Knowledge of NY/NJ tax regulations and compliance requirements
